I have been keeping track of things that my kids say for a long time in a notebook, a piece of paper, iPhone notes, whatever I could grab the quickest. Here are some things that I my kids said this week. My intention is to write these quotes each Thursday, so come back to see what my little men have come up with next week.
Luke’s Quotes for the week: (He is four)
Luke- (We were at a church out of town for Easter) “Mom, is this Jesus’ house too.”
Luke- “Man, he must be rich because he sure does have a lot of houses.”
Luke- “Britney Spears must love to count, huh?”
Mom- “Why do you say that?”
Luke- “Because in that song she sings, 1, 2, 3, count with me, its 81 degrees and I’m caught on 3. “
Mom- “Yeah, I guess she does.”
Luke- “Why doesn’t she count higher than three? Is she stuck? You know I could call her and help her count higher; I can go all the way to 100.”
Luke- “Mom, did you know that the bread is Jesus’ body, and the wine is Jesus’’ blood?”
Mom- “Yes I did know that.”
Luke- “What does it taste like? Cause I’m not so sure I am up for that when I get older, I think I will just stick to crossing my arms and getting blessed.”
Will’s Quotes for the week: (He is two)
Will- “Is Jesus coming here today to talk to us at church?”
Mom- “No, honey. But he will talk through the Priest.”
Will- “Ohh, but the Priest said he has risen, so maybe he is just eating breakfast or something.”
Mom- “Will could you please go get mommy a Dr. Pepper.”
Mom- “Thanks buddy.”
Will- “Here mommy, I know you asked for a Dr. Pepper, but I think you could really use a beer.”
Will- “I want one more green bean please.”
Mom- “I’m sorry we ate them all.”
Will- “Well, could you take the one out of your month and give it to me?”
Will- “Never drink black water.”
(He was talking to his action figures).
What funny things have your kids said lately?
I would love for you to start writing "Things Kids Say" on your blog, on Thursday's with me. I am going to see how it goes, and hopefully I can start a trend. Below is Mr. Linky, ladies and gentlemen get out your pens and keep track of all those quotes.
